The first edition of Ruya Notebooks, Art and Its Objects: 5 Essays on Contemporary Art Selected by Jonathan Watkins, will launch in Manama this month, at the art fair Art Bahrain Across Borders. The fair is curated by Jonathan Watkins, who selected the essays in the book. There will be a book signing with Mr. Watkins at the fair, on 23rd March at 5pm.
The book is also available at the Institut du Monde Arabe, Paris, in light of the exhibition ‘100 Masterpieces of Modern and Contemporary Art from the Arab World: The Barjeel Art Collection’ which opened at the museum in March.
